Our Guild was established in 1981.
We have about 300 members. The
purpose of our organization shall be to advance fellowship among persons
interested in the art of quilting; to preserve the tradition, culture, and
history of quilting; and to enjoy and appreciate others' work.
Our meetings are held the first
Monday of the month. When the first
Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting is held the following Monday.
The meetings begin at 7:00 pm and usually last until 9:00pm.
Our meeting location is at
Knights of Columbus
2590 Solomons Island
Road
Edgewater, MD 21401
MAP
We have a guest speaker or an organized program at each of our Monday
meetings. Our featured speaker may also conduct workshops which are
generally held the weekend prior to the meeting, on the day of the meeting
or the day after the meeting. Members must make reservations for the
workshops since seats are limited; fees are about $40 to $90.
You are invited to attend our next meeting! Bring along a copy of our
Membership
Form
Members also have access to a Members'
Only area on the website.
Our membership is also involved in many
charitable and community service projects.
